Hellenic Practice

About Hellenic Practice

Hellenic Practice is a residential rehabilitation centre based in Athens, Greece, providing structured treatment for substance and behavioural addictions. Established in 2016, the clinic offers professional detoxification and rehabilitation services for individuals affected by drug, alcohol, prescription medication, nicotine, and gambling addiction. Treatment is delivered in a residential setting designed to support privacy, stability, and focused recovery.

Treatment Approach

Hellenic Practice delivers personalised addiction treatment programmes that combine medical oversight with holistic and educational elements. Care plans are adapted to the individual and structured around clearly defined stages, including stabilisation, therapeutic engagement, and preparation for continued care. Detoxification is available on site, allowing clients to begin treatment within the same setting.

The clinical philosophy integrates physical health, psychological care, and lifestyle structure. Nutrition, movement, and daily routine form part of the programme alongside therapeutic work. The approach is non–12-step and focuses on helping clients understand patterns of addiction while developing practical tools for sustained change.

Therapy and Clinical Support

Treatment includes coordinated medical, psychological, and psychiatric support. One-to-one counselling forms the core of the therapeutic process, supported by non–12-step frameworks and holistic practices. Clinical oversight allows mental health conditions to be addressed alongside addiction when relevant.

Hellenic Practice works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, sleep disorders, burnout, attention-related difficulties, and dual diagnosis presentations. Therapy is delivered in an individual format, allowing sessions to be adjusted to clinical needs, progress, and personal circumstances.

Programmes and Services

Hellenic Practice provides residential treatment with flexible programme durations. Available services include:

  • Residential addiction treatment
  • Onsite detox support
  • Individual counselling and psychiatric care
  • Outpatient and continuing care services

Programme lengths range from 15 to 90 days, depending on clinical needs and treatment goals. Outpatient services allow clients to continue therapy and monitoring after residential care while maintaining daily responsibilities.

Accommodation and Environment

Accommodation is provided across several private residential properties in Athens. Options include single-occupancy luxury residences such as Aphrodite Mansion and Zeus Estate, each hosting one client at a time, as well as smaller residential units and a dedicated detox setting accommodating multiple clients. Living environments prioritise discretion, comfort, and reduced external distractions.

Residences include private rooms, wellness-focused interiors, outdoor spaces, and access to gardens, pools, and nearby coastal areas. Treatment sessions take place within these homes to maintain continuity and privacy. For selected programmes, treatment may also be delivered aboard a private yacht in the Mediterranean.

Aftercare and Ongoing Support

Aftercare services form part of the treatment pathway and are tailored to individual needs. Support may include outpatient therapy, relapse prevention planning, and access to community resources. Continued engagement aims to support structure and accountability following residential care, with options adjusted to lifestyle and location.
